Meet Anica Sanoir RN, CCDE, MSc, DPP Lifestyle Coach, VWCN
Founder, CEO, and Trinidad & Tobago's First Caribbean Certified Diabetes Educator
Anica Sanoir is a passionate Registered Nurse with over 29 years of experience and the Founder and CEO of the Caribbean Lifestyle Diabetes Centre in Trinidad and Tobago. Her life’s work is dedicated to helping individuals living with diabetes take control of their health, live well, and thrive.
Her journey into diabetes education began with a simple but powerful desire—to make a difference. Before launching the Caribbean Lifestyle Diabetes Centre in 2015, Anica worked as a Nurse Educator with a leading pharmaceutical distribution company.
Today, through her Centre, she continues to inspire and empower people living with diabetes—and their families—to take small, meaningful steps toward healthier living. Her approach is rooted in compassion, education, and empowerment, helping others see that managing diabetes isn’t just about numbers—it’s about embracing a lifestyle that celebrates balance, wellness, and self-care.

Our Guiding Philosophy
Anica is guided by the belief of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”. This core belief inspired her own philosophy that is the foundation of the Caribbean Lifestyle Diabetes Centre:
“When people are empowered with knowledge, they don’t just manage their health—they transform their lives.”
